Conference Logo

The conference logo was designed by Dr. T. P. Yadav from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. The logo features the natural and cultural heritage of Nepal; the Mount Everest and two-world famous temples.  The pentagon is ‘ICQ13’ script and decagonal diffraction spots inside the pentagon reflect the property of quasicrystals.

The logo was chosen by the international advisory board of ICQ13 among three short-listed. Other two logos were designed by Dr J. Smerdon from University of Central Lancashire, Lancashire, United Kingdom and Dr. A. Singh from National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Tsukuba, Japan.
