About
Stuart has been working in higher education over multiple decades, with extensive experience in teaching and administration roles across the sector. He is currently part of the extended leadership team in the School of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computer Science, with a focus on education, learning and teaching. He is also the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Computer Science, taking an overarching and holistic view of all programmes to ensure students are given the best possible chance to achieve their full potential.
He is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and leads the Teaching & Scholarship group, acting as a mentor for colleagues, promoting best practice in teaching, and ensuring the school remains a vibrant and inclusive educational environment for staff and students. His scholarly work involves supervision of doctoral students using Computer Science and related technologies in educational contexts.
