Synopsis

The film begins its journey around Liverpool with general views of buildings such as the Liverpool Freeport, the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo and an array of local pubs and cafes. There are shots showing Hope Street, the Philharmonic Hall and Cathedrals before moving onto locations around St. Georges Hotel. External views of Anfield, Goodison Park and Aintree, and scenes of derelict housing and flats before moving back to the city centre, documenting the regeneration of the Albert Dock. The voiceover reminisces about life in the city, past and present.
