My role
As IP Manager I am responsible for the coordination of maintenance of the University patent portfolio, alongside ensuring effective legal support in relation to IP commercialisation efforts. My role includes acting as a point of contact between Enterprise Managers, academics and external patent attorneys during the drafting and prosecution of patent applications and then right through to supporting legal matters associated with the commercialisation of intellectual property.
About me
Having graduated in Law, I originally joined UoL working in a Research Contracts function. Having gained a deep understanding of the workings of research and intellectual property focused teams at UoL, I made the move to The Enterprise Team as Legal and IP Associate and am now looking forward to building on our previous successes as the IP Manager.
