University Human Material HTA training sessions

These training sessions are aimed at members of staff and students currently working with human material within the University of Liverpool. Please note human material training must be repeated every three years.

The session will provide an overview of:

  • Overview and historical context of the Human Tissue Act
  • Licensing and the role of the Human Tissue Authority
  • Relevant Material
  • Responsibilities and requirements for working with human tissue
  • Signposting and further information

Presentation slides will be circulated after the session.
