Storage

The Biobank stores human tissue under the Human Tissue Act, providing a number of ultra-low temperature freezers.

We currently have 29 ultra-low temperature freezers (-80°C and -150°C) that provide a total capacity of approximately 1.15 million sample storage spaces, we also have -20°C freezers available.

All our equipment is serviced and well-maintained, with excellent health and safety procedures in place.
