Sample access

The Biobank has collections in many disease areas but researchers can also apply to use the ethics to collect new samples for projects.

Researchers can apply to:

• Use samples already stored in the biobank
• Establish a collection for use in future research
• Store their own collections.

Applications for samples

For general applications please complete the sample access enquiry form. 

For other enquiries or principal investigators storing within the Biobank please contact Biobanking@liverpool.ac.uk

All applications are reviewed by the Liverpool University Biobank Governance and Ethics Group for suitability.

We aim to provide a decision within 6 weeks of receiving a full application.
