Research services
The Liverpool University Biobank (LUB) supports projects undertaken at the University of Liverpool and collaborating institutions. It stores normal and pathological specimens from relevant tissue and bodily fluid for use in research.
All our services are for the use of researchers both within the University of Liverpool and from other universities, hospitals and commercial companies. Our services are flexible and tailored to individual customers/project requirements.
Storage
The Liverpool University Biobank stores collections of human tissue under the Human Tissue Act.
Processing
We have a range of specialised histology services for University researchers and external groups along with expert technical assistance.
Sample access
We have collections in many disease areas available for researchers to apply.
