About the event
Taking place Monday 7 - Tuesday 8 October 2024, at the Liverpool Medical Institution and Conference Centre, the free Advances in Long-acting Therapeutics Meeting aims to bring together researchers in the area of long-acting therapies, from multiple disciplines, to discuss the current state-of-the-art and future opportunities. The development of long-acting therapeutics is accelerated with a multi-disciplinary approach, to ensure that the therapies being developed with desirable physical properties as materials are viable therapeutically, as well as feasible for translation into a medicinal product. We welcome input from material scientists, pharmacologists, pharmacists and industrial researchers to share current research strategies as well as help to identify challenges along the development pipeline.
The meeting will cover three main topics of discussion:
- Current long-acting therapy technologies
- Challenges within long-acting therapeutics to be addressed
- Future opportunities for development and collaboration
Don't miss this opportunity to network with experts in the field and learn about cutting-edge research.
The agenda
We're pleased to announce our Keynote Speakers and their titles:
