The CPR Expands

We celebrate the arrival of many new people into the CPR

 

First and Foremost a new group has joined the CPR in March 2024

Welcome to Prof Richard Scheltema who has chosen to move his group to Liverpool. Richard will be co-directing the CPR as well as leading his research into structural proteomics.  

Making the journey too is Dr Andris Jankevics who is working on developing data processing techniques for crosslinking proteins analysed by mass spectrometry. 

 

Ed has 3 new members Join his Lab, 

Dr Frazer Buchanan Joined in April 2024, will be investigating cellular substrates of viral proteases 

Dr Max Erdmann joined in June 2024 and will be investigating the mechanisms of coronavirus replication 

Dr Rebee Penrice-Randal joined in April 2024 and will be using nanopore-based sequencing and molecular virology to study coronavirus replication

 

Also Andy welcomes his first PhD Student  

Hannah Ging started in October 2023 and will be studying proteomics-based dried blood spot analysis in paediatric and adult kidney disease
