Ed's successful MRC bid and Post Doc opportunity
Dr Ed Emmott has been awarded MRC new investigator grant, with the full application being awarded. Congratulations Ed!
As part of this, there is funding for a 3-year post-doc, to lead an MRC-funded project to study proteolysis of cellular proteins by RNA viral proteases, the project will employ cutting-edge proteomics, CRISPR-Cas9 and CL2/3 virology studies to investigate the pro/antiviral role of cellular proteins cleaved during viral infection.
