Stimulus Activities: teaching resources

Stimulus activities can include watching a video, multimedia, or looking at a photograph, poem or newspaper article or reference to a physical object to initiate discussion and reflection. Use of videos or externally-produced documents potentially enables the tutor to bring in a wide range of viewpoints for critical analysis, and this approach is feasible even with very large groups.
