What is the purpose of the conference?
The conference aims to explore innovative practices, share experiences, and foster collaboration in learning and teaching within the University of Liverpool.
Who is the conference for?
The event is open to all university staff.
When and where is the conference taking place?
Thursday 26 June from 9:00am-3:15pm.
Is the conference in-person, online, or hybrid?
The conference will be in-person only, but some resources will be made available online afterwards.

How do I register for the conference?
You can register via the registration form, which will be available in May.
Is there a cost to attend?
It's free for all university staff.
Can I attend specific sessions, or do I need to commit to the whole day?
The choice is up to you, feel free to specify what sessions you'll attend when registering. Our Conference booklet with all session details will be available when registration opens in May.
What if I cannot attend after registering?
Please email cie@liverpool.ac.uk to let us know you can't attend so we can free up a space for anyone on the waiting list.
What topics will the conference cover?

Who is the keynote speaker?
This year’s keynote will be from Professor Douglas Bourn.
How can I access the conference program or schedule?
The full schedule and Conference booklet will be available in May when registration opens.
Can I present at the conference?
YES! Please submit your session via our submissions form. If your submission is accepted, we will be in touch in a few weeks.
Can I get support from CIE to help develop my session resources?
Yes, feel free to email cie@liverpool.ac.uk and we can forward your request to someone in the team to help support.
Are there networking opportunities?
Yes, during the breaks and lunch.
Will lunch and refreshments be available?
Yes, there will be an hour lunch break and several breaks in between sessions.
I have dietary requirements, how can I inform the organisers?
You can let us know as you register in May or email cie@liverpool.ac.uk to inform us ahead of time. Vegetarian options will be available and Gluten Free lunches will be pre-ordered.
Will you be providing Tizer as a refreshment?
No, I think this was discontinued a number of years ago but feel free to bring your own beverage.
What accessibility accommodations are available?
