2023 Faculty Learning & Teaching and Student Experience Awards and Sir Alistair Pilkington Awards

Professor Francine Watkins, Associate Pro Vice Chancellor (Education, HLS) is delighted to announce the outcome of the Sir Alistair Pilkington Awards for HLS. The standard of the applications was exceptionally high and the panel was extremely impressed with the quality of all the nominations. On this occasion the panel could not separate between two of the Teams and it was agreed that the prize would be shared.

The Sir Alastair Pilkington Award was awarded jointly to the following Teams:-

Joanne Adeoye, Craig Murray & Elizabeth Lomas  - Collaborative Orthoptic Clinical Placement Expansion Project using Digital Technology to Increase access  to Authentic Practice-based Learning:

Dr Elliot Stollar & Dr Raheela Awais - A novel approach for demonstrator training in Biosciences teaching laboratories:
