The virtual patient project would not have come to fruition without the support of the CEDS team. They took our ideas and clinical reasoning and turned them into an amazing interactive learning resource.  The potential of the virtual patient application to clinical practice is immense. The learning from the virtual patient could directly impact patient care, as early recognition and management of these side effects can make the difference between life and death. It also provides another depth to the learning platform and it has had excellent feedback from students who felt it enhanced their knowledge, which in turn will lead to better care for patients, and better outcome overall.
