We run special interest groups in digital education and support the work of HLS colleagues. These groups are informed by staff requests desiring to bring together people who share a common interest, to provide a forum for discussions on emerging trends, share best practice and address challenges in shared areas of interest.
Currently, CEDS special interest groups are:
- Immersive Technologies (AR/VR/MR/Simulation) within HLS
- 3D digitisation of physical artefacts.
We also manage the following faculty groups:
- Digital Transformation Group
- Education and Scholarship Group
- Learning, Teaching and Student Experience Awards.
as well as the following external group:
- End Point Assessment for Advance Clinical Practitioner - Northwest Consortium.
CEDS will release an annual fund which is created from external income generation. CEDS Fund will be announced in the institute newsletters and will be listed here.
