The University of Liverpool is partnering with the Alan Turing Institute, the UK's national institute for data science and artificial intelligence, to host a free PhD Research and Networking Event on May 31st.

While individual research areas vary, increasingly data science and artificial intelligence underpin much of the methodology employed by this generation’s PhD researchers.

If you're a UK-based PhD student applying data science or AI methods in your research, this is an unmissable opportunity to:

  • Present your work via an oral presentation or poster
  • Network with peers from a wide array of institutions and disciplines
  • Hear a keynote exploring data challenges faced by healthcare providers, and the relevancy of the skills gained throughout a data-focused PhD in tackling them

The event will be held at the University of Liverpool's School of Law and Social Justice. PhD students will be organising and facilitating the running of the day, ensuring an engaging and supportive atmosphere.

Registration closes May 10th. Secure your spot by visiting https://www.turing.ac.uk/events/phd-student-presentations-and-networking-may-2024 and completing the short form.

Take this chance to showcase your research, gain new perspectives, and forge connections across the data science community. Register now!
