Lauryn graduated from the University of York with an Integrated Masters in Physics with Astrophysics in July 2022. Her Master’s project was based in Geant4 to simulate gamma-ray interactions with coded-aperture astrophysical satellites like INTEGRAL to improve the mask technology.
Lauryn will join the University of Liverpool to begin her PhD in October 2022. Her research will be based in optimising mobile 3D x-ray imaging technology in partnership with the company Adaptix, following on from previous research in the group.
