Myers Prize
This prize is for best academic performance. The prize was established as a result of a gift made in 1987 by Mrs Muriel Myers in memory of her husband, the late Professor Alexander Myers, Professor of Medieval History 1967-1980, a member of the staff in the Department of History for 42 years, and a teacher on the postgraduate course in Archive Adminstration from its foundation in 1947 until 1980.

Eleanor and Reginald Allan Scholarship
The scholarship, in memory of Eleanor and Reginald Allan, was established in 2008 as the result of an anonymous donation. The scholarship is awarded annually to the student or students accepted onto the postgraduate archives programme (Master of Archives and Records Management), judged to be the most promising as (a) professional archivist(s) and not already holding an Arts and Humanities Research Council or comparable award.
