Physical projects

The physical projects are integral to the success of the reorganisation of the management, teaching and support improvements which the Universities wish to introduce.
Liverpool is constructing a new building, located adjacent to the existing Chemistry Department on the Central Campus, which will provide state of the art multi-disciplinary teaching laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Archaeology, Geography and Earth and Ocean Science.

As part of the LABS (Let's All Benefit from Science) project, Sunderland is redeveloping existing facilities to provide modern, well equipped laboratories and support space to support high quality teaching and learning, real-life applied research, and support for business and the wider community in the areas of drug discovery, pharmaceutical and health-related sciences.
