Optics and Electronics Laboratory
With its mix of perimeter and peninsula open benching this 323m2 laboratory can accommodate 70 students. There is a technician’s station and break out tables and chairs for 20 occupants.
The Lab has one teaching position with an audio visual consul and 8 wall mounted display monitors distributed around the lab. The lab is generously fitted with power, data and wifi connections, as well as sinks and wash hand basins.
This laboratory is sponsored by PHYWE, an international specialist in teaching, training and research laboratory equipment. It has a dedicated dark room so students can work with highly sensitive optical equipment.
