General Chemistry Laboratory

‌This flexible space can be used for analytical and physical measurements, as well as straightforward synthetic chemistry experiments.

It has a large number of benches (including three height adjustable ones for wheel chair users), along with eight fume cupboards, eight UV/Vis spectrometers and other analytical equipment, which is available on request.

The laboratories share a write up room with 24 computers and a Balance & Instrument room, which contains 28 analytical balances and four infra-red spectrometers.
