On Tuesday 4th October our fantastic student entrepreneurs will be trading on Guild Walk at the University of Liverpool as part of our Employability Day.

Anthony Polanowski – Decent Donuts 

Anthony Polanowski created Decent Donuts, a brand that specialises in hand crafted artesian Donuts and sweet treats. Anthony started the business with his student loan during the pandemic and it has skyrocketed since then, with the flagship store in Smithdown.

Since their launch in June of 2021, Decent Donuts has gained a Social Media following of over 15,000 that has helped establish the brand. Anthony is an Enterprise Fund winner which helped develop his business and grow it organically.

Noura Qusairy – Yamama 

Noura Qusairy is Co-founder of Yamama, a sustainable ethical fair e-commerce fashion brand. They sell handcrafted, versatile women’s clothing and collaborate with refugees to produce products. A recent University of Liverpool graduate, Noura attended events in collaboration with Careers including the Design Your Future Programme and LCR Founders. An Enterprise Fund Winner, Noura and the brand have used the funding to create a business that thrives on being sustainable and ethical.

Callum Hewitt – Hewitt Sketches 

Callum Hewitt, creator and founder of Hewitt Sketches, is a current architecture student at the University of Liverpool. His liverpool-themed artwork, gifts and illustrations have appeared at a variety of artisan markets and craft events including LEAF Craft Markets, GOOD Liverpool Markets and the Warrington Young Traders Market. He got involved in SOTA’s Enterprise activity Bright Ideas which led him to Design Your Future, LCR Founders and then receiving The Enterprise Fund. He is currently showcasing his work in 92 Degrees on Jamaica Street in the Baltic Triangle and has gone on to work for high street retailer John Lewis.

Eric Dos Santos De Andrade – Vintage Clothing

Eric is at the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey, building his confidence and dipping his toes in the water to try new things out. Eric is a part of LCR Founders, making friends with a community of likeminded students and widening his network with employers and businesses from across the Liverpool City Region.
