Posted on: 26 September 2024 by Ruby O'Sullivan in Class of 2023

Jasmine McGregor is a Class of 2023 LLB Law graduate, now working as a Trainee Solicitor at Accutrainee.

How did you hear about your role and decide to apply for it?

I first heard about my role at a law fair at the University, my goal after University was to qualify as a solicitor and this company was the perfect fit to start my career.

How did you get to where you are now?

I applied for this role straight after I networked with Accutrainee at the law fair and my time at university helped me develop the confidence to apply to this role and be successful! During my law degree, I always knew I wanted to become a solicitor and the dedication and hard work at university and beyond has truly paid off.

Your favourite experience as part of your role?

I love learning new things every day and truly developing into the well-rounded solicitor that I will qualify to be.

The most challenging part of your graduate journey?

The most challenging part is the intensity of study and training at the same time, but it is all so worth it!

3 Tips for current students and graduates:

  2. Your determination will get you a long way.

Graduate Outcomes Survey

The Graduate Outcomes survey exists to improve the experience of future students. All graduates are asked to share their perspectives 15 months after they finish their course, to build a national picture that UK universities and colleges use to innovate their services. League tables, Prospects and The Complete University Guide use our Graduate Outcomes data to help students make decisions about their future.
