My Campus Ambassador Experience: Ammaar

Ammaar Asghar is a second-year Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Liverpool who also works part-time as a Campus Ambassador for Student Circus, recently representing them at our Spring Careers Fair.

We spoke to Ammaar after the event to find out how he got on:

"Just a few weeks ago, I represented Student Circus as a campus ambassador at the University of Liverpool Your Future Festival Spring Careers Fair. Reflecting upon the fair, I had the opportunity to talk to so many students and answer their questions.

I was truly inspired by how ambitious the students I spoke to were. It was a really rewarding experience, as I was able to direct them to resources available on Student Circus and explain what each resource entails. Many international students were pleased to find out that there is tailored to support for them in any of their future career endeavours and doubts.

Student Circus plays such a meaningful role in supporting international students in the struggles they face, and being able to represent their mission felt very fulfilling.

Lastly, I believe that I gained a lot of confidence in public speaking, active listening and networking with people from different backgrounds and experiences. Thanks to Student Circus and the University of Liverpool for this opportunity and to everyone who stopped by for a chat!"
