I Got Hired: MFL Teacher

Peter Charles is a BA Modern Languages with Education (German) graduate, now working as a Teacher of MFL at Northern Education Trust.

I found my current teaching role in TES Jobs. I got where I am today by believing in myself and just giving it a go.

My favourite part of my job is seeing students get to the end of school and feel confident in a foreign language.

My advice to current students and recent graduates:

1) Keep applying for jobs, you’ll find the perfect fit somewhere

2) When you get used to the workload, it’ll feel so much over

3) Stay in touch with your uni mates as much as possible, it’s the best support group you could ask for
