Elisabeth Memery is an Avionic Systems MEng graduate now working as a Graduate Fuze Engineer at BAE Systems.

How did you get to where you are now?

After applying for the job, I did a video interview and then a live interview and got hired.

What has been your best experience as part of your role?

I like that you get to see behind the curtain and you get to see what has to happen for a product to be made.

What has been the most challenging part of your graduate journey?   

Trying to remember what I was taught on my degree and putting it into practice.

What are your top tips for other students and graduates?

• Have a healthy work/life balance
