eq+ BRAND FINAL by Olga Chatzidaki
The Equality+ (EQ+) Awards are organised by the Careers and Employability team at the University of Liverpool to showcase the achievements of students and graduates who are passionate about equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). The awards celebrate those who have broken down barriers to achieve personal and career success.
At the ceremony, we recognise students and graduates who have shown determination, resilience, and outstanding achievements. We also celebrate individuals and groups who are pushing boundaries, championing equality, celebrating diversity, and creating more inclusive experiences for themselves and others.
The Nomination Process
Nominations for the 2025 EQ+ Awards will open in January 2025. All nominees will be informed of their nomination shortly after the submission deadline, with the shortlist being announced on our website.
All shortlisted nominees will be invited to the EQ+ Awards ceremony at the Victoria Gallery and Museum. The date of the ceremony will be confirmed closer to the event.
The Judging Panel
The EQ+ Awards panel is comprised of representatives from the University of Liverpool and external professionals invested in equality, diversity, and inclusion. The judging panel for 2025 will be announced closer to the nomination deadline.
The Awards
Last year’s award categories celebrated different areas of equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). Each award was sponsored by an employer or EQ+ partner committed to EDI. The awards were presented to the winning students by their employer sponsors at the ceremony.
