Expertise
The Liverpool Reviews and Implementation Group
is made up of clinical reviewers, medical statisticians,
health economists and economic modellers. This
interdisciplinary group conducts systematic reviews that
assess the clinical and cost-effectiveness of healthcare
interventions. The work contributes to the assessment of
health technologies and to the appraisal process for the
National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE).
The health economics team also provides support for
economic evaluations related to clinical trials.
Our substantial expertise makes us ideal continuing
professional development (CPD) providers for healthcare
professionals to assist them in understanding health
research evidence and using this evidence in their
clinical practice.
