A world-class resource for imaging projects, housed in a state-of-
the-art suite of custom-designed temperature controlled rooms.
The Centre is equipped with four confocal microscopes, a system
dedicated for luminescence imaging and two photothermal
microscopes. In addition there are a series of image analysis work-
stations, with high speed data handling and storage capability.
All microscopes are equipped with incubators for live cell imaging
that allow cells, tissues and organisms to be maintained over days.

Takes an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the consumer
experience and consumption. Through continued support and
development of existing consumer groups it conducts research
into a wide range of experiential consumption topics that are

One of the most advanced laboratories of its kind in the UK.
It possesses a range of next generation DNA sequencing
technology, including one of the first Roche/454 GS-FLX
sequencers in the UK. The facility is available for the academic and
industrial scientific community. The Centre is also well equipped
with state-of-the-art microarraying technology and supporting
instrumentation and can provide standard and bespoke array
fabrication. The Centre has the latest computational tools and trained
staff to deliver bioinformatic services for data handling and analysis.
