TU Vienna is the second best ranked university in Austria. It has been established in 1815 in the capital city of Austria and is one of the most prestigious technical institutions in Europe. It has more than 28000 students enrolled with a very high percentage of international students. The university focuses on the fields of engineering and natural sciences with its eight faculties: Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Faculty of Informatics, Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Mathematics and Geoinformation, Faculty of Physics, and Faculty of Technical Chemistry.
