Visit us
There are a number of ways you can visit the School of the Arts, either before or after making an application to study with us.
If none of the options below are suitable (e.g. you’re unable to attend a scheduled event), we can arrange a bespoke visit for you. Please email our friendly team at sotaev@liverpool.ac.uk, or call +44(0)151 7949563 (open Mon-Fri, 9,00am-5.00pm).
We look forward to welcoming you on campus!
Open Days (undergraduate)
We hold four undergraduate Open Days a year, in June, September and October. Open Days are a fantastic opportunity to find out more about your subject(s) of interest, explore the campus, facilities and the city, and to meet academic staff and students.
Find out more – including how to register – on the Open Day pages.
Applicant Discovery Days (undergraduate)
If you’re made an offer to study with us, we will invite you to attend an Applicant Discovery Day, usually in the winter or spring before entry. Our Applicant Discovery Days are designed to give you taste of what it’s like to study here – typical activities include a taster lecture or workshop, accommodation talks, campus tours, and an information fair.

Architecture selection workshops and Music interviews (undergraduate)
If you are applying to study wither Architecture or Music, you may be invited to attend a Selection Workshop (Architecture) or Interview (Music) before we make you an offer. As well as a standard part of the application process, this is a valuable opportunity for you to meet the staff who’ll be teaching you and to get a real feel for what it’s like to be a student with us.
Campus tours (undergraduate and postgraduate)
The University runs free, student-led Campus Tours on most Wednesdays throughout the year. These last approximately two hours and include visits to the Sports Centre, the Student Guild, a student accommodation venue, and one of our libraries. Please note that Campus Tours do not include a visit to the academic Department.

Postgraduate open evenings (postgraduate)
The University hold two Postgraduate Open Evenings a year, in March and November. During Open Evenings you can meet academic staff and current students, find out more about the courses in our various subject areas, and pick up information on topics like funding.
