We are very pleased to announce that PhD researcher Jennifer Lee Tsai (Department of English) will be showing their short poetry-Film ‘Fallen Star’ at the Bluecoat 21st Jan – 2nd Feb 2025.
Jennifer wrote and narrated the poetry-film, as part of a collaborative film, physical theatre, and new writing project entitled 'Lone Women' with Tmesis Theatre and Filmmakers, First Take. The ‘Fallen Star’ links to Jennifer’s creative component of their PhD in Creative Writing, and was also part of Jennifer’s portfolio which won the Rebecca Swift Foundation’s Women Poets’ Prize in 2022.
