Housing cluster

Building on a long tradition of housing research and design expertise at the Liverpool Architecture School, the Housing Cluster leads a series of research and pedagogic programmes in urban housing, finding different forms in teaching, exhibits, publications and events.

The Cluster aims to address historical and contemporary housing issues at various scales and geographical locations. The attempt is to bridge between past and present, the conceptual and technical challenges, rethinking housing for future urbanities. The themes covered by our work include:

  • Housing History
  • Pedagogy
