We’re delighted to be working in partnership with the National Trust (Formby) to make new wayfinding signs.
The NT Formby team recently dropped in to the School of Architecture to drop off timber for the project.
Technicians from the School of the Arts will be CNC routing the signs, which will go up in a ladder formation in various locations.
The signs will show direction arrows and distance in miles to popular spots including Wicks lake, the beach via the boardwalk, the car park and which way to head for Formby’s shops and train stations.
The picture below shows the initial routing tests and gives an idea of how they will look.
We will share more updates as the project progresses.
