The Liverpool School of Architecture would like to congratulate Thomas Rigby on his winning the Morris Prize at the recent Society of Architectural Historians of Great Britain Awards Ceremony. Thomas recieved the award for his Part II Disertation: India, Imperialism and Identity: Arthur Shoosmith. The disertation, which is also an entry for this years RIBA Presidents Medals, examines the work of the little known Shoosmith and its relationship with India, the Modernist Movement and his employer, Edward Lutyens.
