James May's Toy Stories: Meccano

In 2009, Top Gear presenter James May teamed up with the Liverpool School of Architecture to build a structure using the iconic construction toy Meccano. Designed by MArch students John Carroll, Daniel Dobson and Josh Woods, the resulting bridge was over 23 metres long and installed over a newly built section of the Leeds Liverpool Canal at Liverpool's Pier Head.
