The School has invested heavilly in Digital resources for students and aims to provide the majority of software needed for a student to complete their degree.
Students in BA1 and BA2 are provided with Affinity Photo, Designer and Publisher, Autocad and SketchUp to install on their own machines. In addition, students in BA3, MArch and the MA are provided with Adobe Creative Cloud with access to other specialised programes on a request basis.
Specialised online learning through LinkedIn Learning is available to all students. Dedicated digital support staff and MArch students are on hand via Microsoft Teams to offer advice and support throughout the year.

Students can also now access software from our computing labs remotely trough the Remote Teaching Centre Service.

On Campus
Our student computing lab has recently been upgraded with 52 high spec PCs supported by the University IT Services Department. All machines feature Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator and AutoCAD software, plus Rhino and Blender for 3D modelling, Grasshopper for parametric modelling, together with Adobe Premiere, Revit, SketchUp, and the full Microsoft Office suite of applications.
The school also has wireless networking throughout to allow students to work online and access school and university web-based resources including printing.
