CNC router in a room surrounded by safety equipment.

CNC Routing Facility

The CNC Router Facility is designed to facilitate students wanting to create a variety of 2D, 2.5D and 3D objects in relation to Architecture. Equipped with high-precision, computer-controlled machining tools, the facility enables users to fabricate complex, detailed parts from a wide range of materials, including wood, plastic, foam, and soft metals.

Our 3-axis CNC router allows for cutting, engraving, and shaping in three dimensions (X, Y, and Z axes), making it ideal for projects requiring intricate geometries and smooth surface finishes. The facility is operated by trained technicians and is available for use by students. With this machine we can create landscapes, topography and massing models to detailed engraved facias, textures and scaled components.
