Vivian Sin, Associate Director and co-leader of transport & infrastructure sector at Hawkins\Brown and alumni of the University of Liverpool School of Architecture, will be describing how cities are defined and shaped by their infrastructure. With the current renaissance of investment in major infrastructure projects in the UK, Vivian will describe how architects are able to inform the design of these mega projects with reference to delivering some of the UK’s infrastructure projects. The talk will also describe the political, cultural and economical challenges in delivering infrastructure projects and debate how resilient our infrastructure will need to be to deal with future changes.
