The National Health Service turns 70 today and the University is supporting the celebrations, with a number of special activities.
Liverpool’s Open Innovation Hub for Antimicrobial Surfaces (OPIHAS) is a proud partner of the NHS. Healthcare is one of the priority sectors within OPIHAS activities, with several innovation projects focused on medical devices and pharmaceutical applications. We have been engaged in clinical research and healthcare innovation activities with the Liverpool Royal University Hospital, the Alder Hey Children's Hospital, the Institute of Global Health, and the Institute of Translational Medicine.
