The OPIHAS welcomes an international visiting researcher. Francesca Olgiati from the University of Pavia
We are delighted to welcome Francesca Olgiati, a visiting researcher from the University of Pavia (Italy). Francesca is bringing to the OPIHAS the world-leading expertise of Pavia’s Inorganic Nanochemistry Laboratory (inLAB) lead by Prof. Pallavicini and Prof. Taglietti. During this research internship at Liverpool, funded by the European Union, Francesca will be focused on testing a novel type of antimicrobial surfaces with high resolution imaging techniques available at Liverpool. This work will consolidate the successful collaboration activities between Liverpool’s OPIHAS and Pavia’s inLAB, that led to a joint scientific publication (link to Sci Rep. news).
