Student Support Services
Your first few days at university can be quite confusing and it may take time for you to settle into your new surroundings and life as a student. It may also be your first time away from home.
Within the School of Allied Health Professions and Nursing, the following support is available if you want someone to talk to:
- Learning Teaching Support Officer (LTSO) – within the School of Allied Health Professions and Nursing, we have our own team of LTSO’s who can be contacted via email at SAHPNltso@liverpool.ac.uk or by calling 07909 311975/07825 724064 or 07385 111256. They are the first point of contact for all aspects of support, welfare and guidance
- Academic Advisor – you will be allocated an Academic Advisor from within your programme who you should meet in welcome week
- Peer mentor – you will soon be contacted by a 2nd year student who will be your peer mentor whilst at university. You should also have the opportunity to meet with them within welcome week and further details on this will be sent to you prior to you starting your programme
- Senior Academic Advisor - you can speak to Jo Linforth (Director of Student Support) Linforth@liverpool.ac.uk 0776 8846339 about any issues you may have.
Please make contact with any staff detailed above within the School of Allied Health Professions and Nursing if you have any queries.
Further information about the support available at School and university level will be provided once you are here at the university.
