The module is designed for practising, registered healthcare professionals. The module can be used to support continuous professional development.
Module details and indicative content
You will critically examine the professional policy, current guidance and evidence base relating to the management of lung cancer.
Learners will also critique the decision-making, risk assessment and therapeutic intervention in relation to the management and holistic care of the lung cancer patient, and assess personal professional development in the field of lung cancer management through self-reflection.
How you are assessed
There are 2 summative assessments:
- Literature review, case study or other (scope of practice dependent)
- Critical reflection of the learning journey.
To support summative assessment, there are opportunities to undertake formative assessment.
