Who is the module for?
The module is designed for practising, registered healthcare professionals. The module can be used to support continuous professional development.
Module details and indicative content
Learners will critically examine the professional policy, current guidance and evidence base relating to the management of breast cancer.
They will evaluate the decision-making, risk assessment and therapeutic intervention in relation to the management and holistic care of the breast cancer patient, and assess their own personal professional development in the field of breast cancer management through self-reflection.
How you are assessed
There are 2 summative assessments:
- Critical reflection on the learning journey
- Literature review, case study or other (scope of practice dependent).
To support summative assessment, there are opportunities to undertake formative assessment.
