You will analyse and interpret the findings from the case history to inform further clinical investigations relevant to the ophthalmic practice environment, and reflect critically on your own professional development to demonstrate awareness of self-limitations and the need to seek further advice as necessary to ensure safe practice.
How you are assessed
There are three summative assessments:
- A 1,000-word critical reflective summary commentary linked to learning and professional development
- A practical clinical competency assessment
- A 90-minute online examination.
To support summative assessment, there are opportunities to undertake formative assessment.
