Getting around
Find out about the best ways to get around Liverpool.
699 bus
If you’re living in Greenbank Student Village you’ll find the site is well connected to the University campus via the 699 bus service.
The 699 is provided by Arriva and runs every day in term time, taking you between Greenbank Student Village and campus in just under 20 minutes. The service runs every 10-15 minutes during peak hours and every 20 minutes during off peak hours, and runs late into the evening.
It’s a paid service, so if you’re going to be using the 699 the best value option is to buy a student bus pass. These are valid on any Arriva service in the North West, not just the 699. Look out for more information about this pre-arrival.
You can check out the 699 bus route here.
Bike
If you’re thinking about going green and cycling to University, you can find bicycle storage on the University Campus and at all Halls. If you’d like to cycle but don’t have your own bike, you can hire a LivCycle bike from the Green Guild for just £60 per academic year.
And don’t let bicycle maintenance put you off cycling, the Green Guild and Peloton Liverpool are located on Guild walk three times a week to help with everything from a flat tire, small repair or full MOT.
Car parking
Halls on Campus do not have any car parking available to students and the car parks on campus are limited and mainly restricted to staff. If you’re a Blue Badge holder and need access to parking, once you know where you will be living you will be able to speak to your Hall for further advice.
Greenbank Student Village have a small number of car parking spaces which are allocated on a first come, first served basis and cost £155 per year.
