Life in halls

It’s also worth having a look at our YouTube channel to get more of an idea of what life in Halls is like. You can watch room tour videos, discover the 699 bus route, and get a taste of some of our events.

Get involved
There are a number of different ways you can get involved with Halls Life during your time in the University of Liverpool's accommodation:
- Halls Student Committee members are representatives for their Hall, helping improve experience by speaking to students about issues they’re encountering, as well as organising inclusive and diverse social events. This role is a fun way to meet new people and also looks great on your CV! You can contact hsc@liverpool.ac.uk for more information
- You can get involved with Halls sustainability by becoming a Sustainability Champion or Student Switch Off Ambassador with the Green Guild Team. Contact our Environmental Coordinator, Rosie Mercer, to find out more
- Sport is an important part of the activities we offer at Halls, with options to suit everyone - from various team sports and tournaments, to fitness classes and one-off sessions. Our volunteer ‘Sports Activators’ work alongside the Sport Liverpool and Halls Life teams to offer more sporting activity and competitions at our excellent facilities on the Greenbank site. If you’re interested in finding out more, contact the Halls Life team
- We offer work opportunities via a range of roles, including our Accommodation Ambassadors. Ambassadors get the opportunity to chat to prospective students and showcase rooms at our open days. Gaining the perspective of a current student is invaluable for visitors and a great way for you to earn money throughout the year.
Your feedback

We also want to hear from you throughout the year. You can email us at hallslife@liverpool.ac.uk, or come in and see us any time at our offices in Crown Place or Greenbank Student Village.
