How accessible is this website?
We have published an accessible version of this site
There are some things that we don't currently have or which are less than ideal. Work to solve these is ongoing.
- Because our publication is a continuous read, keyboard tabbing will take the reader through pages not visible in the current page
- Scrolling by cursor will scroll one screen at a press which may result in some text moving from off-screen to being behind the site navigational elements.
- Page language is not currently set.
Accessibility confirmation from White Light Media
- We can confirm that we use alt text on our images, that we observe meaningful use of heading tags and that we don't use image objects for text content.
- We also follow the University guidelines on colour use with regard to accessibility and that colour is never used alone as a navigational cue.
- Links are descriptive in title or in anchor text and can be navigated by keyboard.
- Pages are also given meaningful titles and descriptions.
- Video players offer the option to read a transcript or use closed captions.
