How you can help
There are a number of UK charities which work to support people affected by global conflict and disasters, much of which is made possible by generous donations from members of the public.
If you could like to support victims of conflict and disasters please ensure you:
- Check the charity's name and registration number - this will help you to be sure you are donating to a legitimate charity organisation.
- If donating online use the charity's own website or well-established fundraising platforms.
- If donating on the street or on your doorstep check for an ID badge and a sealed collection tin.
- Look for the charity's name, registered charity number and a telephone number on fundraising materials.
More advice is available on the Fundraising Regulator webpages.
